ANNUAL OPEN THEME SHORT STORY COMPETITION

All stories on any theme are welcome, the more interesting and unusual the better, but no stories for children please.
No connection to Scotland is required, either by theme or entrant.
First prize : £400
Second & Third prizes of : £50 each
Closing date : July 31st 2010
Max. word count : 2,500
Entry fee : £5 per story, or 3 entries for £12

attachments so that formatting is not compromised.

Entries should be single-sided, double-spaced and pages numbered, attached with paperclips, please, not staples;
The winner will be announced at the end of October 2010, and winning entries & runners-up will subsequently be published on our website: entry into the competition will assume this to be tacitly agreed; full copyright remains with the author.
